YK Jestřábí Training Program for Children Aged 8 to 15.
Yacht Club Jestřábí has prepared a training program for children aged 8 to 15 in collaboration with personalities from Czech yachting, such as Karel Lavický (Olympian in the Windsurfing class) and Nikol Staňková (historically the most successful representative of the Czech Republic in the Optimist class).
The program consists of three main sailing disciplines and additional off-season activities, focusing primarily on physical fitness, rescue and self-rescue skills, hardening, and swimming. Adéla Černá, a water rescuer and instructor in swimming, first aid, and water rescue, will guide the children through these essential skills and physical preparation. The main training classes are Optimist, where children learn sailing skills, maneuvering, and tactics. Another class is Windsurfing, where Tibor Nevelöš will train the children. Tibor won his first Czech Republic Championship title at the age of 9 and in 2017, he simultaneously won the Czech Republic Championship and the Optimist class cup. He has also accumulated numerous championship titles in windsurfing in the Techno 293 class. In 2019, he ranked in the TOP 20 at the World and European Championships of this class, and in 2020, he won an international race on Lake Garda. In 2019, he was second in the Sailor of the Year poll among juniors, and in 2020, he and his brother Adam decisively won the poll. He now competes in windsurfing and on the 29er boat. Tibor is an excellent windsurfing instructor with extensive experience. The last and relatively technically demanding discipline is Kiteboarding, the youngest among Olympic classes. In addition to kiteboarding, the focus will be on the completely new sailing class WINGFOILING, which elegantly combines the best of windsurfing and kiteboarding. Young participants will train in this modern and attractive sport under the guidance of experienced coach Petr Beneš (with more than 18 years of kite teaching experience) and his son Štěpán Beneš, who, figuratively speaking, was born with a foil.
The aim of the club is to make sailing accessible and attractive to children by incorporating modern and adrenaline-fueled sports such as Kiteboarding, Wingfoiling, and Windsurfing. We aim to offer our juniors excellent sports conditions and experiences on the largest Czech water location under the guidance of the best experienced coaches. For those who enjoy sailing, after reaching the age of 15, two subsequent racing classes are offered - Kiteboarding, Wingfoiling, and Windsurfing, where they can continue to develop not only their talent but also their racing experience. These classes are not only modern but also financially the least demanding.

START YBC Saturday at 10:00 and FINISH Sunday at 15:30
Children can participate in the camp only accompanied by at least one legal guardian.
The camp is limited to 15 participants, so do not hesitate to make a reservation.
Personal equipment is an advantage, not a requirement.
RECOMMENDED: own wetsuit/helmet/life jacket
Content: theory on shore and practice in water
We will provide: Duotone equipment for camp participants.
In case of calm weather, a backup program will be provided (camp is canceled only in case of significant adverse weather conditions).
Pumpfoil, dockstart, or e-foil will also be available for testing.

The program will, of course, be rich again, and besides the fantastic favorite warm-ups for kids, there will be: Kiteboarding, Windsurfing, Wing, Optimist boat training, and in case of calm weather, stability training and electric foil riding, and other water training activities. There will also be space for mental preparation and some playful games. Remember that children must be able to swim independently without flotation aids!

Start: 10:00 (the program starts at 10:00, children must be present before it begins)

boats, life jackets, trainers, lunch - children with specific dietary requirements such as celiac disease, lactose intolerance, etc., must bring their own food! (food heating and serving can be arranged)
